Discount Stack Order
8 rules for stacking offers correctly.
1. Base sale price first - never stack anything on the inflated 'MRP'. Verify the pre-sale price with a price tracker.
2. Bank/card offer second - usually the single biggest cut. Check the card portal before checkout.
3. Coupon code third - search '[site] coupon [month]' before paying. Cashback sites often have exclusives.
4. Wallet cashback last - and only count it if you'd shop there anyway. Points aren't money until spent.
5. Exchange/buy-back offers - take them only after checking the item's resale value yourself.
Why order matters: percentage offers apply to the running total. Biggest percentage first = smaller base for the rest.
EMI 'no cost' offers: the discount is often just the interest renamed. Compare against the cash price, always.
Warranty extension at checkout: usually the worst value in retail. Card warranties often already cover it.
Cashback portals after card offers: activate the portal session first, then pay with the offer card. Order matters.
Festive bank sales stack with existing offers - plan big buys for sale calendars, not whims.
Student discounts never expire quietly: most brands keep them forever with a college ID or .edu email.
Corporate benefit portals hide the best codes - check yours before any electronics purchase.
